This weekend was the last before L2's arrival on Wednesday. (woot woot and another post). It meant that I soaked in as much sun, pampered myself to the extreme and hung out with the girls as much as I could.
Saturday was a fantastic day! After a hair appt to get back the sunny nature to my colour - I had a picnic in the common and sunburnt my nose as per usual. Along with a friend, we headed down to the Windmill on the Common , a little pub with heat lamps and terrific decor and wines to die for. The atmosphere at the place is uncomparable especially when you know all the patrons were just like you a few hours earlier - soaking in the sun. It literally has a buzz, along with another pub we ended up in - The Alex. Known as one of the best in the Southwest - the alex was filled to the prim of very red englishmen.
Due to the busy-ness of Saturday, I spent Sunday pampering and watching the warm rain and just being lazy. It's the last weekend of laziness that I can see for another four weeks. That in itself made me really wish I had Monday off too!
