However, on our drive back from the Isle of Skye, we (the four girls) needed to get some food. So we stopped at a local diner looking place and headed on up. However upon our entry we were giving an almost evil eye. We asked if they were serving dinner, the response was yes, but that they were full. There were empty seats everywhere. The woman said they were full again - and then the people below even offered up their seats as they were leaving soon. Still the lady just said no. And then said if we wanted to be served we would have to wait over an hour. We asked to use the washroom and she said no - it was for customers. I thought we were trying to be customers. Anyways she succeeded in getting us to leave so on we went to the next place. We drove up, got out, tried to go to the grand arms hotel restaurant and got a similar response. Full despite empty seats everywhere.
The third time was a charm and we got in to one of the most recommended restaurants in the highlands. It was soo good and I guess worth it in the end. It was back to the friendly service, delicious food, and excellent presentation. Apparently we just got the strange ones the first time around. I've included a pic of me inside a 'vat' in a distillery just because I love it!
