When they look like this! Meet the friendly traffic lights that East Berlin has! There was supposedly a little cartoon that went along with them to encourage kids not to jaywalk. When the wall fell, the west tried to take down the lights and put in the pencil people lights. Apparently riots and protests ensued - and they were put back. How fantastic is that?!?
