I would really believe this would be a chinook in Calgary. The heat here is incredible. This weekend I went around in a sweatshirt and jeans, basking in the warmth. It's February and feels surreal. Flowers are budding and its picnic weather. I can't wait to be outside and eat cheese and bread and drink some wine. I don't even have to hide it. It's legal to drink outside here. Apparently Canada is considered a 'police state' because of their restrictive policies on drinking outside. Not being drunk, just drinking. I've had the outrage expressed by Londoners on why should they hide their drinking like they're an alcoholic because they want to enjoy a glass of wine in a park? I tend to agree. I think I'll have my picnics on this blanket!
