Obviously there are loads of benefits to living in London. A main one (for me) is the fashion. So many different designers that we don't have access to in Canada. One (a new love) is Orla Kiely for bags and accessories. And this weekend I caved and bought a huge green bag in her traditional print. A Londoner, Orla's main shop is in Covent Garden amongst multiple cobblestoned streets. No Oxford Street here! The majority of her bags are waterproof and so light.. (a suprisingly hard thing to find).
The shop people were also helpful, sweet and generally out of your way. Boutique shopping is the way to go in London or else you might want to bring over more Canadians to train the English on customer service.
