Airline bad karma was due

With all my flying I've been relatively lucky. Despite some long delays, an incident with a stewardess and a door, and some 'almost-lands' I've never had that many issues with airlines. Since I've been flying before I was one, this is pretty good. However, the last two months with airlines have been interesting.

• Not my fault - issues with KLM. They double charged me, my bank wouldn't put a hold on my money and needless to say it was 10 days of painful calling, arguing and no resolutions.
• Clearly my fault - instead of booking the evening flight (like I thought I did), I booked the morning on our flight back from Switzerland. So instead of having a full day in Lucerne in Switzerland, all nice and relaxing, L2 and I will be doing a mad dash to the Basel Airport on the bank holiday. Apologies brother. I've never kicked myself so hard.
