So L2 and I took the plunge and have put an offer to rent a place across from Battersea Park. It's not as simple as you think - yes they've decided that our rent offer was good enough (£5 less than the offer per week) but now we need to have enough cash for one month rent, plus six weeks deposit (which they hold and we never get the interest from...) the agency fees, the right references and more employment things that you could shake a stick at!
Cross your fingers we make it through.....

I hope that you get the place though - it would be so rad if you had the park right there at your fingertips!!!
