After a long discussion about Hallowe'en at work today, we brought up differences in other holidays. I was shocked to find out that Mother's day is a complete different day here. It's in March - and is dependent on Easter. Why can't it be simple like Father's day?
Note: after remarking how balmy the weather is, London is in a cold snap. I'm frozen and there's a chance for snow. Good thing I'm headed south for the weekend. Not too far south, but still south.
