bonfire night/guy fawkes day celebrations started last saturday with fireworks blasting from battersea. while debate still continues over the guilt of many who were executed of treason - it still remains one of the greatest crimes in British history and has since spawned many songs, poems and the infamous V for Vendetta.
Remember, remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason, why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
