Stonehenge can still be viewed from the highway. Because highway expansion is needed (it's the main road into Cornwall and the few mile stretch gets bottlenecked) they are going to build the highway underground. That stretch also has the highest rate of accidents as everyone slows down to look. I don't blame them - it is surprisingly cool.

When my parents came in the 70s, you could still walk amongst the stones.
