Last week L2's parents come for 10 days for their first visit to England. I say first, as I do hope there will be several more (hint hint!). The best part of the trip though was Cornwall.
- Cornwall is stunning and I know understand why it was and is the place to holiday in England.
- Going in March meant far less crowds.
- Rent a car - it meant that we got to stay in this fab B&B for a steal and we had a living room and dining room to ourselves as well.
- The Eden project is crazy. It's alien, informative and on a cold day soooo warm.
- I still detest cornish pasties. Cornwall did not change that despite the fact that they would clearly make the best ones.
- While Rick Stein's makes a mean fish and chips, I don't think I'm ever going to have that again either.
- If in Cornwall, go to Padstow and walk along the head to Trevone. It's an amazing, windy and beautiful walk.
- There are such things as 'wild' ponies. No one is pulling your leg if they tell you that.
- L2 became more obsessed with sheep. - actually it was the lambs.
- Taking the long way to cornwall means a 7+ hour drive, the short way 4 and a bit hours. I like the short way.

What are cornish pasties? I really like that dome thing. What is it?
cornish pasties are like a meat pie but actually drier. They were meant for workers to take to the fields as they wouldn't often not eat the pastry but just the inside (as their hands were too dirty to eat the pastry).
The bottom pic is the Eden Project!
how gorgeous! these photos are wonderful to see! xoxo
