While some claim it is ale - I think it's tea. I've never been offered or drank so much tea in a workday. I don't drink coffee, but found I do need the caffeine boost in the morning and while dark chocolate is delicious, I do not need the sugar or really to eat chocolate in the morning. So that started my tea fixation. At work - you also have to get everyone in your room tea as well (if you're getting some). I used to sit in a room of 5 which took forever - now it's just two of us and it is way more efficient. However, I know my colleague's tea of choice at 10, 11:30, 12:30, 2, 3:30 and most likely 5:30 too. And she definitely knows mine.
I think my free sheep mug could be nicely replaced with this one. I'd never get sick of yellow. And it's a bit classier. It's either that or the Underground tube line mugs specifically the Northern line mug - a line that sucks away at least an hour of my life every working day!

Do the English find it odd that one might choose coffee over tea? Or, would that be enough to get one exported?
Not so odd in the morning. So you won't get hung by not drinking the national beverage.....
Starbucks has a monopoly here too! It's in the late afternoon - it's always tea. Never coffee - or you're thought of as more than slightly strange
