Blur of a weekend

This weekend blew past as it started at a Canadian networking event at the RAC (royal automobile club) in Kensington. It's interior is known for its pool in MatchPoint. To get a feel for the night let's just say L2 was forced to keep on his suit jacket. So after too many martinis (at least for me) we headed to an exclusive oxford and cambridge club and then stumbled home with a few glances. Saturday was my roomie's birthday and we headed to the best place in the world for a celebration - the Guinness Premiership Final (Rugby)! So after being too close to the majority of very drunk home we skillfully grabbed our free water and beat the crowds to take the train home. Sunday was definitely the day of rest. L2 and I decided to have a 'bake-off' and stayed in!! I made some brownies while L2 went all keen and made banana bread, bread and sugar free oatmeal banana and raisin cookies. I also started the first episodes of Gossip Girl. I felt way too out of the loop with American television. I'm not sure I actually like it - but the clothes are beautiful. Tonight - the Weakerthans concert!
